Listed below are the titles of the publications that are part of the NCPW campaign. You
can download the files in three formats. These publications are not copyrighted;
therefore, no reprint permission is required.
ACROBAT READER FILES
The Adobe Acrobat Reader (PDF) files are the final versions for printing.
You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer to view and print these
files.You cannot edit or alter these files, but they offer a high quality printed version
from your own computer.
PAGEMAKER FILES
The PageMaker 6.5 files are the final layout and design files. All the
graphics are imbedded in the PageMaker files. You may need the custom fonts which are
included in the downloaded list.
PageMaker files for a commercial printer
You can download the PageMaker version of the publications and take the files to your
commercial printing company for production. Or, you can give the URL for this page to your
printer and ask him to download the PageMaker files. A commercial printer will know how to
print the files from the PageMaker format. They will also need the required font files
listed in the table below.
PageMaker files for your own use
If you have PageMaker 6.5 installed on your own computer, you can customize and print out
the
publications on your own printer. You will need to install the required fonts on your
computer before opening the publications in PageMaker if you do not already have these
fonts on your computer. See below for instructions. (These PageMaker files will not work
with versions of PageMaker previous to 6.5).
ASCII Text Files
Text files contain the text of the publications only. Use these files to import the
information ito your own applications, customize and print out the materials on your own
printer.
Downloading the files (saving the files to your
hard drive)
All the publications in each format are contained in individual files. Download all of
them, or only those materials you are interesting in reproducing.
- Determine which files you want to download.
- In the table below, right click on the file name of the file you want
to download.
- From the popup menu, click on "Save Link As" (Netscape) or
"Save Target As" (Internet Explorer). In the "Save As" window that
comes up, designate a location on your computer's hard drive to save the file. We
recommend using an empty subdirectory.
- Click on "Save As" to save the file to the location you selected.
Installing required fonts
If you have PageMaker 6.5 on your computer and you want to print out the publications on
your own printer, you must have the required fonts installed on your computer. You may
already have these fonts. If not, download the font files listed in the table below and
install them on your computer. You do not need the fonts to print the PDF
versions of the files.
- Open the Fonts folder located in Control Panel on your computer.
- Click on File/Install New Fonts.
- Locate the font files (TTF) on your computer (where you saved the downloaded files).
- Click on Select All and then OK.
- Close the Fonts folder and Control Panel.
Opening and printing the files
You can run your PageMaker 6.5 program and open the files to alter and/or print them on
your own printer.
- Run your PageMaker 6.5 software (these files may not work with previous versions).
- Click on File/Open and locate the files (where you saved the downloaded file).
- Edit the file, if necessary.
- Click on File/Print to print copies of the file on your printer. Note: Formatting
changes may occur when printing to a your printer.

development. Please check back often.

GRAPHICS
Listed below are the titles of the graphic files that are
part of the NCPW campaign. These files are in GIF format. FTC graphics are not
copyrighted; therefore, no reprint/use permission is required.
Downloading the files (saving the files to your hard drive)
You need to download and save the graphic
files on your computer to use them.
- Determine which graphics you want to download.
- In the table below, right click on the
filename of the graphic you want to download.
- From the popup menu, click on "Save Link As"
(Netscape) or "Save Target As" (Internet Explorer). In the "Save As"
window that comes up, designate a location on your computer's hard drive to save the file.
We recommend using an empty subdirectory.
- Click on "Save As" to save the file to the
location you selected.
HYPERLINKING TO THE WEB SITE
(As each HTML editor is different, we can't
provide specific instructions. Consult your HTML editor documentation for help.) Use your
html editor to place the graphic on your web page. Create a hyperlink from that graphic to
the NCPW Web site. Please use the following URL for the hyperlink:
